G W Revill and Son grow a wide variety of fresh produce for UK supermarkets alongside combinable crops. Vegetable crops include salad onions, tenderstem broccoli, carrots, beetroot, sweetcorn, asparagus and courgettes.
As an expanding business we require a committed individual to work alongside our existing irrigation team. The role will involve operation and maintenance of modern Briggs irrigation equipment with John Deere tractors.
An enthusiastic and problem-solving attitude is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team. Previous experience of field scale irrigation would be beneficial however initiative and a willingness to learn are more important. Training in safe systems of work will be provided.
The successful applicant must be able to confidently operate a tractor, communicate effectively in English and hold a valid driving licence.
This is a seasonal role from April to September with consideration given to a permanent position upon completion.
Hourly pay with 24 days holiday pro-rata. Regular days off under a rota system. Mobile phone provided.
